Kathmandu, Nepal: Hundreds of thousand people including the artists gathered at Maitighar Mandala of Kathmandu on Sunday to express solidarity on Pashupati Sharma’s new music video ‘Lootna Sake Loota Kancha.’

Though the cadres of the ruling Nepal Communist Party had issued threat against of the song discouraging the public from listening to the song, the people gathered at the Maitighar Mandala sang the song and danced even challenging the government not to intervene against of the music video.

The song is a satirical take on the corruption prevalent in Nepal’s public and government sector, that roughly translates as you can rob the nation if you want, which can’t do so anywhere else in the world but in Nepal.

The NCP led incumbent government has taken the music video as of a plot to defame the ruling party and the government as well.
