Assam Rifles conducts weapon display and HIV/AIDS awareness programme in Nagaland

Guwahati: The 7 Assam Rifles organised a Weapon Display programme in Pungro Town for all schools and villagers of Pungro in Nagaland.  
A total of 500 students from six schools witnessed the display.  
The event was attended enthusiastically by the students who were inquisitive about weapon system and entry info armed force.
Rocket launchers and machine gun were main attraction of the weapon display. The programme was followed by light refreshment for staff and students. 
On the other hand, the 28 Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North organised an Awareness rally on HIV/AIDS at Tseminyu district Wokha.  
170 students and 07 Teachers of Don Bosco School and 05 members of KRIPA foundation, Tseminyu actively participated, in the rally to create awareness on in effects of HIV/AIDS especially among the youths of the state.  
The Rally marched from Don Bosco School to Zeshinyu, New Town and back. In the end participants took a pledge to spread maximum awareness on prevention of HIV/AIDS.
