IAF chopper crash near Indo-China border in Arunachal Pradesh, 5 died, one critically injured

Guwahati : Five personnel of Indian Air Force (IAF) were died and one received grave injuries while an IAF chopper crashed in Arunachal Pradesh's Tawang region on Friday morning, officials said.

The incident took place about 12-15 km away from China border.

According to the reports, the Mi-17 V5 chopper of the IAF was crashed at the hilly area nearby China border at around 6-30 am.

A top official of Arunachal Pradesh police said that, six people including two army officials were on board.

Meanwhile, the authorities have ordered a court probe into the crash.
