Kathmandu, Nepal: Former President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav has taken a note about the health condition of Dr Govinda KC, who is staging a fast-unto-death since 24 days by reaching out at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) on Monday.
Former President Dr. Yadav inquired about the heath condition of Dr. KC, who had staged his 15th hunger strike from Jumla from June 30 demanding reforms in the medical education.
Dr. KC was forcefully airlifted to Kathmandu on Thursday owing to the deteriorating health condition. But nothing progress is made yet to break his hunger strike though he has reached in a critical condition due to severe weakness in the body.
During his stay at TUTH with Dr. KC, former President Dr. Yadav concentrated about the health condition of Dr. KC. Dr KC's aide Bishad Dahal briefed former President Dr. Yadav about health condition of Dr KC. Former President Yadav wished KC for his speedy recovery.
