JITPUR: As many as four persons have been found to be infected with the dengue virus in Kapilvastu recently.
They were diagnosed with the mosquito-borne infectious disease during a recent health check-up at the Barakalpur Health Post in Buddhabhumi Municipality of the district.
The infected were later referred to the Butwal-based Lumbini Zonal Hopital for further treatment after the local health post were unable to treat them.
Of them three returned home after treatment while one is undergoing treatment at the Zonal Hospital, according to the health post in-charge Chandrawati Adhikari.
Meanwhile, the District Health Office, Kapilvastu has appealed all to use Mosquito nets and give special attention to sanitation and cleanliness, in order to avoid being infected with dengue.RSS
