Nepal Medical Association halts medical service across country
  Kathmandu, Nepal      July 11 2018

Kathmandu, Nepal: Nepal Medical Association (NMA), the umbrella organizations of the medical doctors in Nepal, has issued a threat to shut down the medical service across the country if the government did not responds the demands raised by agitating senior orthopedic doctor Govinda KC.

The NMA has on Wednesday organized a one-hour protest program across all the hospitals in the country to create pressure to the government to save the life of Dr Govinda KC by fulfilling his demands.

Dr KC has been staging an indefinite hunger strike for the past 12 days in Jumla demanding reforms in the medical education sector by implementing the Mathema report.
