25 officials and employees of the DoEF charged of corruption for sending women to Gulf countries by forging documents

Kathmandu, Nepal: 25 officials and employees of the Department of Foreign Employment (DoFE) have faced music of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) for sending women to Gulf countries by forging documents.

The CIAA has filed a corruption case on Friday claiming that the DoFE officials and other employees had sent 184 women to various labor destinations f the Gulf countries by using forged documents upon the request of recruiting agencies. 

Thos DoEF officers who have faced CIAA music include Ganesh Bikram Shah, Dinesh Kumar Rai, Hari Prasad Devkota, Deepak Kumar Acharya, Pabitra Shrestha and Ram Prasad Oli.

According to the CIAA other non-gazette officers include Laxmi Devi Bhusal, Raghunath KC, Nagendra Prasad Gautam, Hem Raj Pandey, Karna Bahadur Nepali, Kedar Ghimire, Madan Giri, Khagendra Pokharel, Amar Raj Joshi, Bishnu Hari Niraula, Dil Bahadur Khatri, Rabindra Ghimire and among others employees.
