Bomb exploded a Arun III Hydroelectric Power project

Kathmandu, Nepal: An unidentified group has exploded a bomb at the compound of Arun III Hydroelectric Power Plant’s office in Khandbari-9 Tumlingtar on Saturday midnight. 

With the explosion, compound wall of the 900 MW Arun III Hydroelectric Power Plant has damaged slightly. Though the reason and the group involved in the explosion is not identified yet, it is guessed that Netra Bkram Chanda led Maoist would have occurred the explosion. 

The explosion is taken as of a symbolic protest as the power plant is scheduled to be inaugurated by Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi on his upcoming visit to Nepal on May 11.
