Kathmandu, Nepal: Former King Gyanendra Shah, who had created a tremble when he had danced at the dinner party in Kathmandu, resembled like his direct regime at tourist city Pokhara on Monday.
When former King Shah reached at Pokhara with his spouse Komal Shah, the couple was welcomed by a huge mass mostly the cadres affiliated to the royalist political groups including the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) and others pro-royalist Hindu groups.
The former king Shah was feted with a 21-kg-garland and a traditional Panche Baja band when he landed at Pokhara airport and walked from Pokhara Airport to Birat Chok greeting well-wishers and accepting flowers on the way.
Though former royal couple’s visit to Pokhara is claimed merely a private visit and planning to spend two weeks there, it is likely that former King Shah would be busy in some political meetings.
