Hearing on Chief Justice nominee Joshee postponed again for Wednesday

 Kathmandu, Nepal:   The lawmakers represent to the NCP for the Parliamentary Hearing Special Committee have divided over the issue of endorsing the appointment of Deepak Raj Joshee in the post of Chief Justice.  

 
As lawmakers have divided over the issue of over the issue of endorsing the appointment of Deepak Raj Joshee in the post of Chief Justice,the scheduled meeting of the Parliamentary Hearing Special Committee of today has been postponed for Wednesday. 
 
The Parliamentary Hearing Special Committee has failed to take a decision on whether to endorse the Joshee’s name as the Chief justice or to reject due to the indecision of the NCP lawmakers. It is said that NCP is not in favor to endorse Joshee's name as the Chief Justice. 
 
The NCP lawmakers have been claiming that the chief justice nominee Joshee failed to impress none of the members of the hearing committee. 
 
As the NCP has ten lawmakers among the fifteen member Parliamentary Hearing Special Committee,  it has the right whether to endorse Joshee’s name as the Chief Justice or not.
