Kathmandu, Nepal: A high-level government delegation from Bangladesh has arrived in Kathmandu on Tuesday afternoon to take updates about the fatal US-Bangla Airlines passenger plane crash. The fatal crash had occurred at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) on Monday resulting 51 dead.
The delegation has been consulting with the concerned government and non governmental agencies and taking updates about the accident, deceased and injured people.
The delegation comprises Bangladeshi Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism, AKM Shahjahan Kamal; Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Shahriar Alam and senior officials of Civil Aviation Authority in Bangladesh.
Among the 71 passengers including the crew members, 51 people have confirmed as dead in the crash till Tuesday. According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, among the deceased, 22 are Nepalese, 28 from Bangladesh and one Chinese national.
Others 20 injured in the deadly accident are receiving treatment at various hospitals in Kathmandu. Among the injured, six have reported as critical in condition.
