Ministry of Supplies to take action today against NOC officials involved in land acquisition scam

Kathmandu, Nepal: It is likely that the Ministry of Supplies, the line ministry of the state owned oil monopoly, Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC), would take action against ‘corrupt’ officials of the NOC including its managing director Gopal Bahadur Khadka in the alleged charge of involving in the land acquisition scam. 
Ministry of Supplies has reached on the conclusion to take action against NOC officials including managing director Khadka after the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers gave a nod to do so. 
The office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers has on Tuesday directed the Ministry of Supplies to promptly initiate action against those involved in the NOC land acquisition scam. 
As Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba categorically instructed us to take action against those found to have involved in the scam, we would take some decision regarding the action today, an official at the Ministry said preferring anonymity.
