NCP Chair Dahal leaving India today

Kathmandu, Nepal: Nepal Communist Party (NCP) co-chairperson and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal is leaving Kathmandu for India on a four-day official visit today.

As Dahal is leaving for India for the first time after the unification between the two former parties- CPN UML and the UCPN Maoist Center, it is taken importantly in the political and diplomatic level of both Nepal and India.  

Though the act purpose is not come yet independently, it is said that he is leaving India ‘for mentioning the balanced relationship between neighboring India and China’. Following the India visit, he is also going to visit northern neighbor China. 

It is said that Dahal will visit various leaders of India including Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
