Kathmandu, Nepal, October 2, 2019: Nepali Congress leader Prakash Man Singh has suggested the government, its head Nepal Communist Party (NCP) and the Nepal police to use the sexual harassment case related to the former speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara as of a chance to win the people's heart by taking proper action against Mahara.
‘The case related to the Mahara would be a good opportunity to regain the lost faith’ NC leader Singh said. As the government has become unpopular for its recent wrongdoings, Singh said while speaking at a function in the capital on Wednesday.
As nobody is above the law of land and law should be applicable to every citizen equally, the government should prove it by conducting a fair investigation without any political bias or influence, Singh said.
