Nirmala rape and murder case becomes mysterious after victim’s vaginal swab did not match with the Bista trio

Kanchanpur, Nepal: Nirmala Panta’s rape and murder case becomes mysterious after forensic report found no match between the DNA samples taken from three suspected persons with the victim’s vaginal swab.

The DNA of suspended SP Dilliraj Bista, his son Kiran Bista and, Ayush Bista, nephew of Bhimdutta Municipality Mayor Surendra Bista, did not match with the DNA taken from the vaginal swab of the Nirmala Panta , the Nepal Police has said on Sunday confirming to the speculations to this effect. 

Similarly, Birendra KC, a member of the probe committee formed to investigate Nirmala rape and murder case has been attacked by an unidentified group o Sunday. It is likely that the case has been becoming mysterious with one after another incident.  

KC was attacked when was en route to Dhangadi in a vehicle of the law ministry of Province 7. 

It is said that two people riding on a motorcycle had pelted stone on the vehicle at Beradadi area targeting to KC. KC, who had reached Kailali on Sunday itself, has received minor injury on his head
