Parliamentary Hearing Special to take decision about Chief Justice Nominee Joshee

Kathmandu, Nepal:   The lawmakers represent to the NCP for the Parliamentary Hearing Special Committee have divided over the issue of endorsing the appointment of Deepak Raj Joshee in the post of Chief Justice.  

As lawmakers have divided over the issue of over the issue of endorsing the appointment of Deepak Raj Joshee in the post of Chief Justice, the party has taken initiation to make a univocal voice at the Parliamentary Hearing Special Committee. 

It is said that the Parliamentary Hearing Special Committee would take a decision on whether to endorse the Joshee’s name as the Chief justice or to reject today.  

The NCP lawmakers have said that the chief justice nominee Joshee impressed none of the members of the hearing committee, a NCP lawmaker said. 

As the NCP has ten lawmakers among the fifteen member Parliamentary Hearing Special Committee,  it has the right whether to endorse Joshee’s name as the Chief Justice or not.
