  Kathmandu, Nepal      July 10 2018

Kathmandu, Nepal: Right activists have been arrested from the southern gate of the Singha Durbar on Tuesday.

Dozens of right activists including noted rights activist Krishna Pahadi were arrested while they were gathered to protest the government’s recent controversial decision.

The government decision to fix the Maitighar Mandala as prohibited area is being labeled as anti-democratic act by the rights activists.

The rights activists have also raised the voice in favors of the demands made by Ganga Maya Adhikari and Dr Govinda KC, who have been staging fast-onto-death strikes with their respective demands.
