President Bhandari Leaving For Poland On Saturday

Kathmandu, Nepal: President Bidya Bhandari is leaving for Katowice city of Poland on Saturday to participate in the 24th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 24).

The Nepalese delegates led by the President Bhandari will attend in the opening ceremony of COP 24, which is scheduled for December 2-14. 

According to a source at Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) President Bhandari would address Nepali community members at a function to be organized by the Embassy of Nepal at Berlin. The Nepalese embassy at Barlin is also accredited to the Republic of Poland.   

Likewise, President Bhandari is also scheduled to address the address the High-Level Segment of the COP 24 on December 3 and she will hold talks with the President of the UN General Assembly María Fernanda Espinosa Garcés during the sideline of the conference.
