Kathmandu, Nepal: Visiting Heads of State/ Government of the member countries of the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC), have called on President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Thursday.
All the Heads of State/ Government of the seven BIMSTEC member countries—Nepali Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Wazed, Chief Justice of Bhutan Tshering Wangchuk, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, President of Myanmar Win Myint, President of Sri Lanka Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister of Thailand Prayut Chan-o-Cha-- met with President Bhandari at Sheetal Niwas. Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Gyawali was also present in the meeting.
