Prime Minister Dahal directs chief of four security agencies for arrangements for effective security management for the local level elections

Kathmandu, Nepal: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has on Tuesday directed all four security agencies- Nepal Army, Armed Police Force, Nepal Police and National Investigation Department- to make necessary arrangements for effective security management for the local level elections slated for May 14.
 
Prime Minister Dahal issued such directives by calling the chiefs of four security agencies- Nepal Army’s Chief of the Army Staff Rajendra Chhetri, Armed Police Force’s Inspector General Singha Bahadur Shrestha, Nepal Police’s Inspector General Prakash Aryal and National Investigation Department’s chief Dilip Regmi at his official residence Baluwatar. 
 
Hinting to the possible threat while mentioning security in Terai districts, Prime Minister Dahal also directed the security agencies to take necessary arrangements to mention the security in the country.
 
Responding to the concerns of the media persons, the heads of the security agencies ensured for maintaining security to hold elections in free, fair and fearless environment in all over the country including the Terai districts.
