Kathmandu, Nepal: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has confirmed that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s official visit to China will begin from coming Tuesday (June 19).
The MoFA has confirmed the date by issuing press statement on Wednesday. Prime Minister Oli is embarking his six day long official visit to China at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart Li Keqiang.
According to the press release, Prime Minister will meet various leaders including his Chinese counterpart during his 6-days long visit to China. Prime Minister Oli and his led delegation will return home on June 24, 2018.
Prime Minister Oli is also scheduled to address Nepal-China Business Forum and think tanks in Beijing. Likewise it is said that Prime Minister Oli will sign some agreements and Memorandum of Understandings (MoU). However, to be signed agreements and MoU are not specified in the statement.
In the Primer Oli led delegations, his wife Radhika Shakya, Minister for Home Affairs Ram Bahadur Thapa, Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Barsha Man Pun, Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Raghubir Mahaseth and his Chief Advisor Bishnu Rimal have already fixed.
However, it is likely that the delegation will be a jumbo team as some other members of parliament, high-ranking government officials, and representatives of private sector and media persons will be included again.
