Kathmandu, Nepal: It is likely that the Rastriya Prajatantra Party Nepal (RPP), the fourth largest party in the parliament, would not support to the government to passage the constitution amendment bill registered in the parliament.

Though the party has not made public the official stand regarding the issue of constitution amendment, almost all the Central Work Execution Committee members (CWEC) of the party have raised the voice against the bill in the meeting held on Monday.

The leaders and the central committee members, who spoke against the bill o Monday, have a saying that the provisions in the constitution amendment bill are not in favor of national interest. They had a suggested that the government should not take forward the bill until all the parties reach on the consensus over the issue.

As being an ally of the inclement government, the Nepali Congress and the CPN Maoist Center, the major allies of the incumbent government, have a hope that the RPP would support to passage the constitution amendment bill registered in the parliament.
