Seven killed, three injured in Rukum jeep accident

Nepalgunj, Nepal:  At least seven people including newly married couple and Nepal Police inspector duo were killed in a jeep accident in Musikot municipality-6 in the district on Friday night. 

 
According to the district police office at Rukum, a passenger jeep with registration number Ba. 1 Ja 4260 had met accident at Musikot of western Rukum district at late night on Friday. 
 
The deceased have been identified as Janak Sahi, Sudarshan Shrestha, Sher Bahadur Shrestha, Surekha Shah of Musikot municipality-1, Yamuna Malla of Tribeni rural municipality-1 and Police Inspector Nabin Shrestha and his wife Police Inspector Anita Pradhan Shrestha of Rukumkot of the district. 
 
It is said that the inspector duo had tied their nuptial knot just about one week ago. 
 
 
In the fatal accident, three people have injured critically. The injured passengers have been receiving treatment at Nepalgunj. The injured are identified as driver Prem Siujali Thapa of Tulsipur Sub metropolitan City-16, assistant driver Prem KC of Banfikot rural municipality and Tek Bahadur Khatri of Bardiya.
