Butwal, Nepal: Three persons including elected representatives have been arrested along with a huge cache of banned narcotics, Marijuana.
Rupandehi Police have arrested while they were possessing of 37 kilograms of Marijuana from Belbas Shanti chowk in ward no. 13 of Butwal sub-metropolis.
Those arrested are Janak Gharti,34, of Nasikhola rural municipality-9, Baglung, Nahari Tharu,50, of Banaganga municipality-2 and Tika Bahadur Rassakoti,40, of Panini rural municipality-5, Arghakhanchi.
According to the police, Rassakoti is also an elected people’s representative, as a ward member of the same rural municipality.
It is said that market value of it is said to be worth Rs. 1.8 million.
