United States of America’s Assistant Secretary Nisha Biswal concludes Nepal visit

Kathmandu, Nepal: The United States of America’s Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs, Nisha Biswal, has concluded her two-day official visit to Nepal on Monday.
 
During her two day stay in Kathmandu, she met various political leaders including Prime Minister and CUPN Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Nepali Congress president and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and others. 
 
During the meeting with Nepal Nepali leaders, US senior diplomat Biswal concentrated her discussions about the recent situation of the country particularly in the front of constitution implementation, reconstruction and rehabilitation works after the devastating earthquake and others.  
 
“The United States Government continues to work closely with the people and government of Nepal in order to support democratic systems and structures that improve inclusiveness, strengthen the business environment, and focus on development and reconstruction efforts,” Biswal has stated in the statement issued by the US Embassy in Kathmandu on her departure.
 
The United States continues to engage with Nepal to support its democracy, prosperity and stability, the press statement states further.
