Sri Lanka wins toss, bats 1st against Pakistan in 5th ODI
  Kathmandu, Nepal      October 23 2017
SHARJAH, United Arab Emirates, Oct 23:  Struggling Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat first Monday against Pakistan in the fifth and final one-day international.
Pakistan is trying to clinch the series 5-0 against a batting lineup short of confidence.
Sri Lanka yet again surprisingly put faith in its struggling batsmen and instead made three changes in its bowling lineup.
Left-arm fast bowler Vishwa Fernado replaced Suranga Lakmal, while spinner Jeffrey Vandersay and seamer Dushmantha Chameera got in in place of Akila Dananjaya and paceman Lahiru Gamage.
Pakistan made only one change, replacing fast bowler Junaid Khan with allrounder Faheem Ashraf.
Sri Lanka will be looking to end its 11-match losing streak and has also been blanked 5-0 by South Africa and India in ODIs this year.
