Kathmandu, Nepal, February 13, 2023: Belgium's Jan de Brandt has been appointed as the head coach of the national volleyball team of both men and women.
Brandt was appointed as the head coach of the national volleyball team with the technical support of International Volleyball Federation (IVF), global volleyball governing body of the national volleyball associations.
According to the Secretary General of Nepal Volleyball Association (NVA) Roshan Shrestha, Brandt was appointed as the head coach of the national volleyball team for 6 months.
As per the deal, Brandt’s tenure will begin from March and end at August and he will be in both the men's and women's teams of Nepal.
It is said that Brandt was appointed as the as the head coach of the national volleyball team targeting to the upcoming Asian Games, which is scheduled from coming September.
