44th World Tourism Day is being marked in Nepal with various programs today

Kathmandu, Nepal, September 27, 2023:  The 44th World Tourism Day is being marked across the world including in Nepal with various programs today. World Tourism Day used to be marked every year on September 27.  

The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Nepal Tourism Board and Department of Tourism and other governmental and nongovernmental organizations in the tourism sector are marking the day with various programs.

The Nepal government has fixed the slogan as “Tourism and Green Investment” to mark the day. Likewise, the government of Nepal has also formed a Main Ceremony Committee under the coordination of Tourism Minister Sudan Kirati to mark the World Tourism Day.

On the occasion of the World tourism Day, rally was organized from Patan Dhoka of Lalitpur to Mangalbazar today morning. Likewise, the government has welcomed to foreign tourists at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA).
