Bird flu detected in Kathmandu

Kathmandu, Nepal, May 26, 2021: Bird flu has been detected in different locations in Kathmandu valley yet again.

It is said that the bird flu has been detected in three poultry forms in Kathmandu. According to the media reports, bird flu was confirmed in two locations in Kirtipur and one in Chandragiri of Kathmandu. 

As bird flu had also detected in two poultry farms of Tarkeshwor and Nakkhu of Kathmandu just few weeks ago, it is suspected that the bird flu would have spared in different poultry forms in Kathmandu valley.

With the rumors of spreading threat of bird flu, consumers as well as poultry farmers and meat sellers have remained in panic as rapid surge of coronavirus infection has also badly hampered the normal lives and economic activities.
