NBT Kicks off to Revive COVID-19 Affected Tourism Business

Kathmandu, Nepal, November 3, 2020: With the aim to revive the ailing tourism business in the country, which has been badly affected by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, various tourism agencies of Nepal have organized Nepal Bicycle Tour (NBT) on Monday. 

The NBT, organized by the various tourism businesses related agencies namely the Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal (TAAN), Nepal Association of Tours and Travel Agents (NATTA) and Nepal Mountaineering Association (NAM), was promoted by the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), the government’s agency responsible to promote and develop the tourism in the country. 

The NBT, which was started from NTB’s Bhrikutimandap of Kathmandu based office premises, will reach various parts of the country from east to west, the organizers have said. Renowned cyclist Pushkar Shah has been coordinating the tour.
