Nepalese Share Investors Demand Immediate Reforms in NEPSE Automated System
  Kathmandu, Nepal      November 26 2018

Kathmandu, Nepal: Share investors have protested the technical glitches occurred in the automated system introduced recently by the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE).

A protest program was organized in front of the Nepal Stock Exchange’s Bhadrakali based office demanding an immediate reform in the fully automated system.

Though the Nepalese share market was switched to an online trading system on November 6, it is not working well because of technical glitches. With the launching of the automated system, the domestic share market has been decreasing significantly.

Different share investment forums- Nepal Investors Forum, Share Investors Association of Nepal, Nepal Capital Market Investors Association and Nepal Capital Market Association had called the investors to assemble at the Nepal Stock Exchange office to press the concerned authorities for immediate reform in the automated system.

Responding to the concern Nepal Stock Exchange chief executive office Chandra Singh Saud admitted the technical glitches and vowed for the immediate improvement.
