Kathmandu, Nepal, February 8, 2020: The NEPSE index has gained 37.48 points to close at 2,561.47 points making the highest index in the history of NEPSE on Monday.
The NEPSE index that was opened at 2,553.78 made an intraday high at 2,563.29. However, the index went as low as 2,538.83 to close at 2,561.47 points.
During the four hour long trading period, 20,011,555 shares were traded via 92,079 transactions. The trading of 206 scrips had brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 10.61 Arba. This is also the highest intraday turnover in the history of NEPSE.
Likewise, the float index has gained 3.36 points and closed at 174.50 while the Sensitive index reached at 466.60 after gaining 7.28 points.
Prabhu Bank Limited (PRVU) has made the highest individual scrip turnover of about Rs. 58.04 crores. Likewise, PRVU’s shares also traded the most on Monday.
Likewise, Grameen Bikas Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (GBLBS) has hit the 10 percent positive circuit while Himalaya Urja Bikas Company Limited (HURJA) lost the most 6.78 percent on Monday.
