NEPSE Index Losses by 69.77 points and closes at 2,521.65

Kathmandu, Nepal, December 27, 2021: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has decreased by 69.77 points, which is 2.69 in percent, and closed at 2,521.65 points, thanks to the selling pressure throughout the trading hours on Monday. 

The NEPSEE remained red at the second trading day of the week on Monday though it had begun to increase since few days after massive fall down. The decrease of Monday is taken as natural fall in the share market.  

The Float index has reached at 173.09 points after losing 2.55 percent while the Sensitive index reached at 471.89 points after losing 2.25 percent. 

The NEPSE index witness intraday low as 2,518.80 points before closing at 2,521.65 points. A total of 10,292,226 shares were exchanged amounting to Rs. 5.607 Arba in the turnover amount. This is higher than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 5.17 Arba. 

Nabil Bank Limited (NABIL) made the highest turnover of Rs. 30.6 crores closing the market price of Rs. 1,499 per share while the shares of Mega Bank Nepal Limited (MEGA) traded the most.

Similarly, Madhya Bhotekoshi Jalavidyut Company Limited (MBJC) and Gurkhas Finance Limited (GUFL) gained 10 percent hitting the positive circuit breaker while the Joshi Hydropower Development Company Limited (JOSHI) lost the most by 8.54 percent.
