Kathmandu, Nepal, January 12, 2020: Nepal Petroleum Dealers’ National Association (NPDNA) has announced to raise the prices of petroleum products by 50 paisa per liter from Thursday.

Alleging the Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) of showing apathy to revise the commission rate of the dealers, the NPDNA made the announcement through a press statement on Monday.

The petrol pumps will charge additional 50 paisa per liter from Thursday besides the rate fixed by the NOC, states the press release. As NOC has been ignoring our demands over three years to revise the commission rate, we have no alternative to take the decision, states the statement.

NPDNA has also made a claim that study team of NOC had already proposed to increase the commission on petrol and diesel to 3.395 percent and 3.12 percent respectively.
