Kathmandu, Nepal, January 11, 2022: The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), the central bank of the country, has issued four-point directives to all the Banks and Financial Institutions (BFIs) to provide services by mentioning safety protocols of the COVID-19.
Considering to the spiking number of coronavirus infection cases in the country since few dasy, the NRB has issued a directives to the bank and financial institutions on Monday urging them to keep their ATM doors open and conduct talks, seminars and assemblies through the virtual means.
The NRB has issued the directives at the time when government has adopted some restrictive measures to contain the spreading threat of coronavirus infection in the country.
Owing to the alarming situations, the schools are directed to close down from Tuesday to January 29. Likewise, the government has also banned on gathering of more than 25 persons at place and made a provision to show vaccination cards to take services from the government offices. The provision will come into effect from January 21.
