Kathmandu,Nepal:Foreign direct investments pledged to Nepal has increased in the first eight months of the current 2024-25 fiscal year.
According to the department the committed investments had stood at 321 million U.S. dollars by last Thursday, marking a 53-percent increase over the same period.
The department has also stated that the pledged amounts went to 427 projects with a view to generating 11,475 jobs, noted the report.
The tourism sector attracted most of the amounts, followed by the sectors of information technology and service, states the report published by the department. ost of the amounts, followed by the sectors of information technology and service, the report said.
