Chandra Dhakal Assumes Post As FNCCI President, Anjan Shrestha Elected As Senior Vice President

Kathmandu, Nepal, April 14, 2023: Chandra Prasad Dhakal has become the president of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), a leading representative organization of Nepalese business community. 

Dhakal, who was the senior vice-president in the immediate past working committee, has risen to the topmost position of the FNCC as per the statue of the FNCCI. Dhakal is the founder chairman of the IME Group. 

Likewise, Anjan Shrestha has been unanimously elected as the new senior vice-president of FNCCI. We become unopposed senior vice president after another contender Umesh Lal Shrestha extended support to him in the second round of elections. Ram Chandra Shanghai, another contender of the post was ousted in the first round of elections. The newly-elected Senior Vice-president Shrestha is the executive director of Laxmi Group.
