Kathmandu, Nepal, August 23, 2022: Commercial paragliding is being operated in Phulchoki area of Panauti in Kavrepalanchok district.
The Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation has already given permission to the Phulchoki Adventure Pvt Ltd to operate the commercial paragliding in the area.
Chabilal Humagain, chair of Phulchoki Adventure Pvt Ltd, said that the company will operate the paragliding in Phulchoki area once the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal issues permission to operate the paragliding.
We will begin commercial flights in Kushadevi area of Panauti after the CAAN issues permission, Humagain said. According to him necessary preparations including the paragliding test flights is already conducted from the area.
The company has believed that paragliding in the area would attract the people in and around the Kathmandu valley including the foreign tourists to promote tourism business in Nepal.
