Kathmandu, Nepal, April 30, 2021: coronavirus infection tally of the country has advanced to 323,187 after 5727 new cases reported in the past 24 hours. Of the newly infected cases, 2,402 are females while 3,255 are males.
Of the newly infected cases, Kathmandu Valley alone recorded 2,956 new cases in the past 24 hours. Of them, Kathmandu district alone recorded 2,404 cases while 133 recorded in Bhaktapur and 419 in Lalitpur districts.
Likewise, death toll due to the infection of coronavirus advanced to 3,279 after 33 fatalities related to the virus reported in the past 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 15,916 total tests were conducted in the last 24 hours in different labs across the country.
