Kathmandu, Nepal, April 13, 2021: Nepal has on Tuesday recorded 460 new cases of coronavirus infection from across the country. With the new addition, nationwide infection tally of the deadly virus has advanced to 280,984.
Of the newly recorded cases, 161 cases were recorded in Kathmandu district alone. Likewise, 28 cases recorded in Lalitpur district while 12 recorded in Bhaktapur district.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 153 people, who had already infected with the virus, have been discharged after recovery. With the addition, recovery tally of the country has advanced to 274,318 that equals to 97.6 percent.
Meanwhile, five death related to the coronavirus infection have been reported in the past 24 hours. With the addition, total fatalities related to the virus have reached 3,058.
There are currently 3,608 coronavirus infection cases across the country. Of them, only 85 individuals are staying in quarantine facilities.
Following the spiking number of coronavirus infection cases, the government had conducted 4,386 PCR tests and 817 antigen tests in the past 24 hours.
