Kathmandu, Nepal, April 6, 2021: Nepal on Tuesday recorded 260 new cases of coronavirus infection from across the country. With the addition, total infection tally of the country has advanced to 278,470.
Of the total newly recorded, Kathmandu valley alone recorded 149 new infections cases in the past 24 hours.
Likewise, 113 people, who were earlier infected with the virus, have been discharged after recovery. With the addition, total recovery tally of the country has advanced to 273,455.
There are currently 1,979 active cases across the country. Of them, only 69 individuals are staying in various quarantine facilities.
