Kathmandu, Nepal, May 16, 2021: Coronavirus infection tally of the country has advanced to 455,020 after 7,368 new cases reported in the past 24 hours on Sunday.
Likewise, death toll related to the coronavirus infection has advanced to 5,001 after 145 fatalities related to the virus reported in the past 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health and population (MoHP), 6,648 people, who were infected earlier with the virus, have been discharged after getting recovery in the past 24 hours.
There are currently 110,263 active cases across the country. Of them, only 1,313 individuals are staying in quarantine facilities across Nepal.
The recent update indicates that daily coronavirus infections and death related to the virus have been declining while recovery rate is increasing significantly.
