Kathmandu, Nepal, June 22, 2020: Renowned Nepal born Bolywood actor Manisha Koirala has urged on and all to be civil while sharing her hopes in the governments of Nepal and India to solve the ongoing border issues.
Manisha, who had already welcomed the decision to update the Nepal’s political and administrative map including the ‘disputed’ Limpiyadhura, Lipulekh and Kalapani in Nepali territory, made the urge through her Twitter account.
‘A heartfelt request please let’s not be aggressive and disrespectful,’ she has stated in the Twitter without clarifying what or who she is referring to. However, her tweet is believed to have addressed the strained ties between Nepal and India because she has urged the citizens of both nations to not be aggressive or disrespectful.
‘We are in this situation together… our respective Gov’s will resolve the issue. In the meantime we can be civil …I remain hopeful,’ she has stated in the Twitter.
