Kathmandu, Nepal July 4, 2022: The shooting of the French feature film ‘Digbi’ is going to be held in Nepal. For the purpose, crew members of the film including Director Alan Simon have already arrived in Nepal.
Organizing a press meet program on Sunday, the director Alan Simon had said that the crew members would fix the locations first before starting the film.
Interestingly, the Digbi film, which will be made in French, will also feature Nepali actors. However, the actors to be involved in the film are yet to be finalized.
According to the director Simon, the film will be shot in Kathmandu and other locations including Namche and Lukla in the Everest region. About 90 percent of Digbi’s shooting would be finalized in Nepal, director Simon said at the press conference.
Director Simon is a French folk-rock musician and best known for his rock operas, composer and writer.
According to him, his plan to shoot the film was pending since 2015 due to the devastating earthquake in Nepal.
Nepal is the place where many foreigners used to come here to search the spirituality, and I am also happy to be here to shoot the film, he said at the press conference.
