Kathmandu, Nepal, February 8, 2022: For the first time in the history of Nepal, a separate hospital will be established for the labors. The government has formed a feasibility study team for the construction of a labor hospital. 

The Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security has on Monday decided to form a panel to study and recommend the government to establish the proposed labor hospital. 

The team formed under the leadership of Chief of Labor Relations and Social Security Division of the Ministry Shesh Narayan Poudel is mandated to suggest the government over the modalities of to be established labor hospital.

According to the Ministry, the team has been formed comprising the Director General of the Department of Labor and Occupational Safety, representatives of Ministry of Land Management Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation, Ministry of Forest and Environment, Ministry of Health and Population and of the Joint Trade Union Confederation.
