Kathmandu, Nepal, May 19, 2021: coronavirus infection tally of the country has advanced to 488,645 after 8,227 new infection cases reported in the past 24 hours from across the country on Thursday.
Similarly, death related to the coronavirus infections has advanced to 5,847 after 190 succumbed to the virus in the past 24 hours.
Meanwhile, 6,543 people, who were earlier infected with the virus, have been discharged after recovery in the past 24 hours. With the addition, recovery tally of the country has advanced to 366,946.
There are currently 115,852 active cases across the country. Of them, only 932 individuals are staying in various quarantine facilities across Nepal.
