Kathmandu, Nepal, February 21, 2021: coronavirus infection tally of the country has advances to 273,431 after 80 new cases recorded on Sunday. Of the total newly infected cases, 33 are females while 47 males.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), Kathmandu valley alone recorded 49 new cases in the past 24 hours.
Likewise, 121 people, who were earlier infected with the virus, have been discharged after recovery in the past 24 hours. With the addition, total recovery tally of the country has advanced to 269,876.
There was no death due to the infection of coronavirus on Sunday. The nationwide death-toll related to the coronavirus infection remains 2,061.
There are currently 1,494 active cases across the country. Of them, only 68 individuals are staying in various quarantine facilities across Nepal.
