Coronavirus infection cases reached to 70,614 after 1,313 new cases recorded in the past 24 hours, death toll reached to 459 with six more fatalities

Kathmandu, Nepal September 25, 2020:  Nepal’s coronavirus infection tally reached to 70,614 after 1,313 new cases recorded in the past 24 hours. Of the newly recorded cases, 645 were from Kathmandu valley alone. 

Coronavirus infection cases are not getting low in Kathmandu triggering a fear that the capital city of Nepal would turn a next epicenter for the infection of the deadly virus. In the past 24 hours, Kathmandu alone recorded 503 new cases while 91 in Lalitpur and 51 in Bhaktapur.

According to spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), there are 18,289 active cases across the county at present. 

Likewise, death toll due to the infection of coronavirus reached to 459 after six fatalities reported in the past 24 hours.
