Kathmandu, Nepal, November 25, 2020: Nepal’s coronavirus infection tally has reached to 226,026 after 1,948 new cases recorded in the past 24 hours.
1,948 new cases of coronavirus recorded while conducting 9,210 PCR tests at various labs across the country in the past 24 hours. Of them, 774 are females while 1,174 are males.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), of the newly recorded coronavirus infection cases recorded from across the country in the last 24 hours, 835 cases surfaced in Kathmandu Valley alone.
Of them, 635 are from Kathmandu district while 113 from Lalitpur district and 87 from Bhaktapur district.
Likewise, 3,140 people, who were earlier infected with the virus, have been discharged after recovery in the past 24 hours. With the addition, total recovery tally of the country has advanced to 207,998.
Similarly, death toll due to the infection of coronavirus has been advanced to 1,389 after 28 fatalities related to the virus recorded in the past 24 hours.
With the new updates, the country has now a total of 16,639 active cases of the coronavirus.
