Kathmandu, Nepal, January, 09, 2020: Coroanvirus infection tally of the country has advanced to 264,521 after 362 new cases reported in the past 24 hours. Of them, 159 are females while 203 are males.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), of the newly infected cases 194 surfaced in Kathmandu valley alone.
Likewise, 699 people, who were earlier infected with the virus, have been discharged after recovery in the past 24 hours. With the addition, total recovery tally of the country has advanced to 257,928.
Meanwhile, death toll due to the infection of coronavirus advanced to 1,912 after three more fatalities recorded in the past 24 hours.
There are currently 4,681 active cases across the country. Of them, 262 individuals are staying in various quarantine facilities across.
